Turkey Day in Harlem with Purpose.

 Harlem celebrated together with a wealth of community as the National Action Network gave away HUNDREDS of turkeys November 25th, 2025.

With several turkey giveaways throughout Harlem via Churches, Community Centers etc.; National Action Network continues to lead the way giving away hundreds of turkeys the previous day in New Jersey’s National Action Network and in Harlem home to the historic National Action Network House of Justice at 106 West 145th St, NY, NY.

Harlem National Action Network’s tremendous commitment to community began by having the Turkey Give Away during the afternoon November 25^th followed by a Thanksgiving Celebration at the House of Justice feeding hundreds of folks a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday meal.

Guests included Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani, New York State Attorney General Letitia “Tish” James as well as major film producer Spike Lee.

But the day of community didn’t stop there, later that evening was the premiere of the film Aftershock: The Nicole P. Bell Story honoring the life of Sean Bell, late husband to Nicole P. Bell who was previously killed in Queens New York by police the night before she and her late husband’s wedding.  Produced by Manny Halley, the film premiered in Red Carpet style at AMC Empire 25 on 42nd Street.
