Harlem gearing up for Breast Cancer Awareness

In Harlem Pelham Fritz Recreation Center, as part of NYC Park and Recreation gears up for a beautiful celebration scheduled to occur October 25^th, 2025 in observation of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Vividly decorated by NYC Park and Recreation staff as well as others, the amazing flurry of pink breast cancer awareness logos and signage fills the rooms at Pelham Fritz NYC Park and Recreation Center location to welcome community members to celebrate as the recreation center will host a variety of fitness classes (Zumba, Zen, Restore the Body Stretch, Hula Hoop fitness, Pilates, as well as Swing Dance and more) lovingly celebrating those who have won the battle against breast cancer and those who are currently at battle with breast cancer offering light refreshments during the event for the community to enjoy. 

Proud sponsors of the event include MSK Ralph Lauren Center proudly serving the community offering the celebration event free of charge to the community via NYC Park and Recreation Pelham Fritz Recreation Center.
